Fundraising

Would you or your company like to raise funds to help Camp Mohawk?

If you’d like to raise money for our work we’d love to hear from you. Every penny counts and you can be sure the money you raise will directly benefit the children and young people who use our facilities. As well as funding our four main projects we have big plans to make our facilities even more accessible, develop new projects and gradually extend opening hours. If you’d like to find out more as you’re planning your fundraising please get in touch – we’d love to talk or welcome you to see Camp Mohawk for yourself.

There are so many ways to raise funds. The best way is one you can enjoy, alone or with a group of friends or colleagues. It might be a physical challenge or a special event. Ideas include:

Runs, walks, cycle rides, swim or dance challenges – either measured by distance, time or plain daftness. One group we know carried a full set of lounge furniture up and down a mountain in a day! Another wore wild and wonderful costumes for an all night silent disco.

Golf days, tennis matches, football competitions, rugby events, company ‘sports’ days – anything that brings people together for a good cause.

Skydive, wing walk, bungee jump, kite surf – anything mad that you’ve always wanted to do.

Bake sales, tea parties, craft/art exhibitions, fashion shows, quiz nights, game jams, dance or music events.

Whatever you are good at or enjoy you can usually raise money doing it!
