Family Visits
To use Camp Mohawk families must be registered.
We are generally open to families during school holidays and on Saturdays throughout termtime. Our opening times and booking opportunities are communicated to registered families by e-mail (subject to consent) and at a later date are also shown on our Calendar.
Registration is open to any family who have a child or dependent with a special need or disability. Any members of your immediate family are welcome to come and visit.
There is a suggested donation for registered families of £5 per month (£60 per financial year) although as Camp Mohawk is a charitable organisation this fee is voluntary and also flexible, with some visitors donating more and some donating less, dependent on individual circumstance. If you do not feel able to contribute, your registration will not be affected. Donations can be paid ideally by standing order using the Regular Donation (Standing Order) Form, or alternatively by cheque (payable to Camp Mohawk) or cash.
If you would like to register your family with Camp Mohawk please download, print and fill in the Family Registration & Consent Form and the Visitor Induction Form and send them back to the postal address which can be found on our contact page.
Alternatively you can fill out these forms on your first visit. Once registered your family will begin to receive updates via email.

Please note that Camp Mohawk has a registered assistance dogs only policy. Whilst we respect the fact that family dogs provide a valuable outlet for children with special needs, there are an equal number of children who visit Camp Mohawk who have a fear of dogs and for that reason only registered assistance dogs are permitted on site.
Group Visits
Mohawk’s facilities are available to special needs or integrated groups, including support groups, schools, groups of families, residential centres and respite services. Groups may book visits to Mohawk at any time of the year, subject to availability. Please be aware that (subsidised) charges will be made for each visit, and that the level of these charges will depend on the timing of the visit, and the requirements of the group.
