Bring the whole family!
Family Days at Camp Mohawk really are about the whole family. We encourage the whole family to come along and to play and socialise, both with each other and with other families.
Many parents and children comment on how wonderful it is to meet other families in similar situations to their own and many long lasting friendships have been formed on family days.
The staff are there to support parents and siblings as well as children with special needs as we recognize that the family as a whole is important.
We hold an annual siblings day during the summer holidays which runs along similar lines to our ‘outward bound’ days and often includes archery, bouncy castle, lazer mission, animal workshops etc… For older siblings (8 years +) this day is intended as respite, however a parent may accompany younger siblings.
