Our heated outdoor swimming pool is one of the focal points of Camp Mohawk. It is open during the summer months of June through September, with qualified staff on hand to supervise.
The pool is surrounded by a safety fence and is designed for easy access with beach style sloping sides at each end. At its deepest point in the centre the pool is ~1 metre deep.
We ask that all non-swimmers (or those who require buoyancy aids) are accompanied in the pool by a responsible adult (16yrs+). It is sometimes possible for a member of staff to be in the pool to provide support, please ask the Duty Manager if you are unable to enter the water with your young person. Please bring your own swimming costumes and towels, although if you do forget we have spares of various shapes and sizes.
We have a selection of inflatable balls, toys & sinky toys that are not only great fun but also encourage swimming and confidence, be it for children who have never been in a pool before, right through to children who can confidently swim underwater.
