Welcome to Camp Mohawk
Camp Mohawk is a multi-functional day centre for special needs children, set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside, just outside Wargrave, Berkshire. Throughout the year the centre provides a range of activities, facilities and natural space to encourage children with a variety of special needs to play, socialise and learn in a secure and caring environment.
Camp Mohawk operates a membership scheme, with memberships available for both families and groups. Please see the 'Membership' page for more information.

Due to continued building work we remain closed on Tuesdays until further notice. The work is moving swiftly; the renovation of the computer room is complete, and the next phase of creating the corridor linking the dining room to the main building, incorporating new toilets and a second disabled bathroom, has begun. Huge thanks to our team of volunteers who continue to dedicate hours of their time to this project, and to Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, and Wokingham District Councils, for their financial support.
Timetables of activities for the coming months are now on the Calendar page. Family days are, as usual, open to exisiting and new members. Any groups wishing to book a visit please contact Kate Kent. We are also now taking bookings for the Summer holiday.

We are running a limited number of Outward Bound days for teenagers on the Autistic Spectrum in the coming months, plus 2 days of respite in the Easter holiday for children aged 8 - 13 years with Aspergers Syndrome or high functioning Autism. Places will be limited and booking is essential. Please see the Calendar page for dates, and contact Luke Jansen for more information.
During the 2012 summer holiday (21st July - 2nd Sept) the centre will be open most days (a few days have 'exclusive use' bookings), 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am - 4pm Sundays. Family members do not need to book, but it is essential that any potential group visits are discussed and booked by 20th July. Please see the Calendar for more details.
